It all started when…

Each February, hundreds of fraternity and sorority leaders throughout the southeastern U.S. converge on Atlanta to attend the Southeastern Greek Leadership Association Annual Conference. The Academy is a three-day educational conference, from February 20-22, that features something for everyone, regardless of his/her role in their community.

Well-known educational speakers anchor the SGLA conference curriculum. At least one general session covering broad fraternity and sorority issues is scheduled each day. Smaller, more-intimate breakout sessions are also scheduled daily. Breakout sessions provide a variety of opportunities to discuss specific challenges, learn new ideas and interact with fraternity and sorority leaders from around the region. Both students and advisors will find programming geared specifically toward their varied interests and challenges.

The SGLA Awards Banquet wraps up the conference each year. Member institutions and individuals are recognized for their hard work as well as their outstanding service and dedication to the fraternity and sorority movement.

In addition to the conference programs, there may be time for your council to schedule excursions off site. Whatever your interests, Atlanta offers a variety of sights, sounds and flavors. The SGLA Annual Conference is held in Atlanta.
